Abstract: The Covid-19 pandemic drove significant changes in the educational sector, forcing an abrupt transition from in-person to remote teaching. This study analyzes&#xD;
adaptations in teaching practices in municipal schools in Contagem, Minas Gerais, with a special focus on teachers in the early years of elementary school. The&#xD;
main objective was to understand how these educators planned and executed&#xD;
their pedagogical activities to ensure the continuity of the literacy process during&#xD;
the crisis. Data were collected from 290 teachers through questionnaires, revealing a significant discrepancy between the guidelines of educational authorities&#xD;
and the real conditions of teachers. This mismatch resulted in challenges in managing digital technologies and adapting teaching methods. Furthermore, the lack&#xD;
of adequate resources and infrastructure for distance learning was evident, along&#xD;
with the considerable emotional difficulties faced by teachers. This study highlights the urgent need for public policies that improve teacher training in educational technologies and improve school infrastructure. These measures are crucial to mitigate educational inequalities and prepare the educational system to&#xD;
face future crises that require non-face-to-face teaching modalities. The research&#xD;
also suggests the importance of greater collaboration between educators and&#xD;
authorities to ensure that transitions are more efficient and less disruptive, emphasizing the need for teaching strategies that are adaptive and inclusive, considering the diversities -students’ socioeconomic status. Finally, the study points&#xD;
out that COVID-19 has brought changes to the educational process, but needs&#xD;
to be carefully studied, since, depending on how it is used, it tends to weaken&#xD;
and make education even more precarious in the country.

Abstract: This work presents some elements of&#xD;
the theory of recognition proposed by the German&#xD;
philosopher Axel Honneth, affiliated with the critical&#xD;
theory of the Frankfurt School. Throughout the text&#xD;
we demonstrate how the theory developed by this&#xD;
scholar contributes to the analysis of the situation&#xD;
of traditional peoples, ethnic minorities or any other&#xD;
social segment. We place the theory of recognition&#xD;
in its three dimensions, showing how in each&#xD;
dimension the situation of quilombola communities&#xD;
in the present is materializing, considering that each&#xD;
dimension of recognition elaborated by Honneth&#xD;
corresponds to a form of disrespect, when subjects&#xD;
do not see themselves recognized. in a community&#xD;
of values or among their peers, so the denied respect&#xD;
becomes the spring that drives the emergence of&#xD;
social movements. Thus, we carry out a synthesis of&#xD;
the elements that are presented in the struggles of&#xD;
quilombola communities to show the applicability&#xD;
of this theory with regard to the rights that have&#xD;
historically been denied to these collectives.

Abstract: This paper presents an introductory systematization about the main theoretical discussions about quilombola communities. The text, of bibliographic character, points out some theoretical conceptual elements that help us to understand these&#xD;
communities. The term quilombola appears for the first time in the Constitution of 1988. In the context of the political debates, a wide interpretative discussion about its semantic content was opened, since an interpretative ambiguity loomed over it. We present the two theoretical perspectives that were constituted to explain the issues related to the definition of quilombola communities. In this article we point out some theoretical-conceptual elements that help us understand the quilombolas, understood by us as an ethnic group. It is a bibliographic text that intends to contribute with the&#xD;
understanding of the current discussions about the quilombola communities. We first approach the process of producing ethnicity. In the sequence, we present theoretical concepts that allow us to take the quilombolas as an ethnic group.
