Abstract: The general objective of this study was to investigate which active methodologies were developed by Language teachers at Campus Tucuruí of the Federal Institute of Pará during the pandemic period and their effectiveness in didactic-pedagogical methods, in the teaching-learning process. The research used a qualitative approach of the exploratory and descriptive type. As instruments, an online questionnaire with ten questions was applied to ten teachers in the Languages area of Campus Tucuruí of IFPA, which&#xD;
made it possible to highlight the main difficulties faced in this period and what strategies were adopted in remote teaching in the area, in the institution. As a result, there was a diversity of active&#xD;
methodologies, which were being developed, mainly, with the use of digital technological resources such as video production, the Inverted Classroom, among others, which resulted in learning both for students and for language teachers.

Abstract: The institutional construction of the epistemology of the solidary economy as a pedagogical act in teacher training in the Marajoara Amazon has been important as a public policy and as an educational proposal in verticalization. Thus, from teaching at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Pará, Campus Breves, we intend to understand their meanings, focusing on regional development, based on document analysis and dialogue with the analytical perspectives of Gadotti (2009) , Singer (2005), Freire (1981; 1997), Kruppa (2005) and Ferreira e Sousa (2015), among other intellectuals. In the unfolding of this investigation, it was inferred that the solidarity economy becomes&#xD;
a pedagogical practice in teacher training in educational institutions and that this can be intertwined with local knowledge and practices, based on regional development, integrated and continued training in the technical, administrative and policy.

Abstract: The objective of this study was to analyze research carried out on the use of Assistive Technologies (AT) in the process of including students with visual impairments in rural schools. The research, of a bibliographic nature, was carried out through a survey of scientific productions on the Scielo, Sucupira and Google Scholar platforms in the period from 2015 to 2020. The texts used&#xD;
were selected based on the use of the descriptors: assistive technologies, inclusion, disability visual and rural schools. 97 works were collected from a dynamic reading, focusing on the title and summary. After more concentrated reading, four works met the selection criteria. The data was analyzed and systematized according to the results of the selected research. The results&#xD;
pointed to little understanding of the term AT, mainly in relation to its use in the teaching and learning process. The lack of teacher training for the use of AT resources also appears as one of the main obstacles to the teaching and inclusion of students with visual impairments. When searching for the use of assistive technology in rural schools for the inclusion of visually impaired people, no research was found covering such descriptors and it was concluded that the studies were concentrated in urbanized regions.

    <title>Aquisição de vocabulário técnico em língua inglesa em cursos de graduação do IFPA – Campus Castanhal</title>
    <link>https://repositorio.ifpa.edu.br/jspui/handle/prefix/553</link>
    <description>Título: Aquisição de vocabulário técnico em língua inglesa em cursos de graduação do IFPA – Campus Castanhal

Abstract: Mastery of technical vocabulary in English is important for undergraduate students because research and studies are often published in English and knowledge of specific words that are&#xD;
part of the metier of certain fields can help students to better understand these studies and research. In addition, knowledge of technical vocabulary in English facilitates students' communication with colleagues from other countries and to disseminate their research in international events and journals. In this sense, given the great importance that this demand imposes, the present research aims to investigate whether the amount of exposure to the English language offered in the undergraduate courses of the Castanhal campus of the Federal Institute of Pará is sufficient to promote the adequate acquisition of technical vocabulary&#xD;
among students. For this, the PPC - Pedagogical Course Planning - of two undergraduate courses of the IFPA Castanhal campus, Agronomy and Food Engineering, were consulted to verify the English language hours in the curricular matrix of those courses. As data collection methodology, a form with structured questions was applied to four classes (one of Food Engineering and three of Agronomy) to trace the profile of the students of the classes&#xD;
investigated, and two multiple-choice test models were used to verify the level of knowledge of the students in relation to English. The results obtained showed some situations that deserve careful reflection when drawing up or updating the Course Plans, with regard to the English language: around 94% of the students give great importance to the language, but an equally significant number admits not studying the foreign language outside the school environment. As for the results of the tests, they revealed that about 89% of the students do not have a satisfactory mastery of vocabulary related to subjects related to the agroecological&#xD;
profile of the campus or of text interpretation of the same theme. The low percentage of students who obtained regular or good concepts indicates the need for more contact with English, so that they can begin to recover this gap in knowledge. Therefore, the product proposed is a lexical tool, a bilingual illustrated guide, which contains, in addition to technical vocabulary of the main agri- food processes of the IFPA Castanhal campus (Beekeeping,&#xD;
Worm farming, Cattle farming, Pig farming and Dairy production), photographs, illustrations, links to download complementary materials and videos, and QR codes to provide these accesses through cell phones. It is a tool guided by the technicians of the sites investigated, and which is expected to be useful not only for students of undergraduate courses, but for anyone else interested in acquiring a little technical vocabulary in English, of the processes and procedures that are required for the development of the program.
