    <title>Formação de professores do campo na Amazônia Paraense: um olhar sobre as práticas sociais de linguagens</title>

Abstract: Reflecting on the importance of continuing training in rural schools, particularly with regard to the social practices of languages developed by educators in the Amazon region of Pará, requires a detailed look, since we start from the assumption that educators with contextualized training and within the local reality will be able to contribute with greater emphasis to the critical and reflective learning of the students who learn. With this in mind, the general aim of this study was to understand the process of continuous teacher training focused on social language practices and how it relates to rural education. In this way, we opted for a qualitative approach. The data was collected through a focus group made up of eight teachers from the center where the investigation took place: the Tessalônica educational center, located in the village of Tessalônica, in Irituia-Pará. The experience allowed pedagogical practices to be seen in the context of social language practices, with greater interaction. The results revealed the need for ongoing training, as well as pedagogical material that dialogues with the reality of the countryside. The research contributed to involving the school community in training during workshops that were given and generated a pedagogical notebook built in partnership with the participants, but it can be inferred that there is still a need for further studies on the subject, which can contribute on a larger scale to this discussion.

Abstract: The aim of this research was to create and validate signs for Family Farming terms that do not exist in Libras and to organize a bilingual glossary based on linguistic analyses of lexicographic forms. In order to interpret the information collected and understand the nuances and meanings of the researched terminology, we opted for descriptive and interpretive research, with a quantitative-qualitative approach, which includes statistical analysis of the terms and qualitative interpretation of the data collected. The methodological stages began with the selection of specific terms from Portuguese-language dictionaries, validated by a focus group from the Agricultural and Environmental areas. This was followed by a search for the terms in Libras dictionaries, a survey of bilingual professionals and a proposal for the construction of sign-terms, which were validated by the local Deaf Association, interpreters and Libras professionals in the Amazon. The result was fifty terms. Forty-four were created and six were identified as being in use by the deaf community. The signs were catalogued in a free bilingual glossary in a repository at the University of São Paulo - USP, entitled: "Terms of Family Farming in Libras" - a tool for access to communication between deaf people, professionals in related areas and anyone else who might be interested.

Abstract: The research in question aimed to investigate pedagogical practice, based on the essence of the practice and the valorization of the Amazon region agricultural products. To do this, it took as its starting point the Family Farming Pedagogical Fair - a project&#xD;
designed to encourage students at the Nicolau Neres da Silva State School of Elementary and Secondary Education in the municipality of Irituia-Pará, to develop actions in the community with a view to real and meaningful learning in the school context. This qualitative field research involved 19 high school students (from the 1st to&#xD;
the 3rd year) - who were directly involved in organizing and planning the fair. In this sense, it can be said that the project managed to combine theoretical knowledge with practical situations - such as greater development in oral communication, argumentation, mathematical calculations, logical reasoning, interaction with the public outside the school and problem solving. In addition, the research was relevant because it disseminated the experience of a public school that serves rural students, who, despite not having full access to effective public support policies to develop many projects, dare to make a difference and show every day the need and importance for educators to value the culture and identity that each student brings.
