Abstract: Mastery of technical vocabulary in English is important for undergraduate students because research and studies are often published in English and knowledge of specific words that are&#xD;
part of the metier of certain fields can help students to better understand these studies and research. In addition, knowledge of technical vocabulary in English facilitates students' communication with colleagues from other countries and to disseminate their research in international events and journals. In this sense, given the great importance that this demand imposes, the present research aims to investigate whether the amount of exposure to the English language offered in the undergraduate courses of the Castanhal campus of the Federal Institute of Pará is sufficient to promote the adequate acquisition of technical vocabulary&#xD;
among students. For this, the PPC - Pedagogical Course Planning - of two undergraduate courses of the IFPA Castanhal campus, Agronomy and Food Engineering, were consulted to verify the English language hours in the curricular matrix of those courses. As data collection methodology, a form with structured questions was applied to four classes (one of Food Engineering and three of Agronomy) to trace the profile of the students of the classes&#xD;
investigated, and two multiple-choice test models were used to verify the level of knowledge of the students in relation to English. The results obtained showed some situations that deserve careful reflection when drawing up or updating the Course Plans, with regard to the English language: around 94% of the students give great importance to the language, but an equally significant number admits not studying the foreign language outside the school environment. As for the results of the tests, they revealed that about 89% of the students do not have a satisfactory mastery of vocabulary related to subjects related to the agroecological&#xD;
profile of the campus or of text interpretation of the same theme. The low percentage of students who obtained regular or good concepts indicates the need for more contact with English, so that they can begin to recover this gap in knowledge. Therefore, the product proposed is a lexical tool, a bilingual illustrated guide, which contains, in addition to technical vocabulary of the main agri- food processes of the IFPA Castanhal campus (Beekeeping,&#xD;
Worm farming, Cattle farming, Pig farming and Dairy production), photographs, illustrations, links to download complementary materials and videos, and QR codes to provide these accesses through cell phones. It is a tool guided by the technicians of the sites investigated, and which is expected to be useful not only for students of undergraduate courses, but for anyone else interested in acquiring a little technical vocabulary in English, of the processes and procedures that are required for the development of the program.

Abstract: This dissertation is the result of research aimed at investigating the organizational processes of participants in the Rural Producer Fair and analyzing the connections and partnerships established for marketing family farming products, both at the fair and in institutional markets (PNAE and PAA). The research was based on a bibliographical review of family farming, covering its productive dimensions and the history of fairs and public policies in Brazil, with a focus on the Amazon region. Secondary data was collected from academic databases such as Scopus and Google Scholar. The problem of the research was to analyze the factors that inhibit the strengthening of farmers' markets and the improvement of living conditions in Marajó, Pará. To this end, aspects such as market infrastructure, market accessibility and institutional support were considered. Primary data was obtained through visits to agroecological fairs, direct observation, and interviews with fairgoers, organizers and representatives of research and extension projects at the Federal Institute of Pará (IFPA). The analysis was qualitative, using content analysis to identify challenges and potential, triangulating with data from the literature review and institutional documents. The research identified the profiles of the farmers at the Rural Producer's Fair, highlighting their main demands, levels of organization and marketing networks. Significant progress was made in strengthening the recently created farmers' and extractivists' cooperatives in the municipality of Breves, highlighting the importance of cooperative work in improving production and marketing conditions. However, the work of farmers through the Rural Workers' Union showed weaknesses, especially with regard to the low level of membership among family farmers, specifically those who work at the Rural Producer's Fair. These results reveal the need for greater mobilization and institutional support to strengthen the role of the union, with a view to improving working conditions and increasing access to markets for agroecological products in the region.

Abstract: This research came from the need to analyze how continuos education occurs in the context of social language practices in the educational pole Tessalônica in Irituia- PA and also to strengthen the pedagogical practices of countryside teachers, from the organization of workshops and the production of a pedagogical notebook with the participation of the teachers of that pole, to support the portuguese language classes in 2nd year elementary school classes. Thus, we methodologically opted for a qualitative approach. The data collection was done by means of a focus group and literature review, it was based in authors who helped us understand the peasantry, countryside education and social practices of language. The locus of research was the educational pole Tessalônica, located in the village of Tessalônica, in Irituia/ PA. Eight teachers participated in the research, who made up the focus group, emphasizing that it was an experience that allowed us to verify the pedagogical practices in the context of social language practices, with more interaction. The survey results revealed the need for continuing education, as well as pedagogical material that dialogues with the reality of the countryside. Thus, based on the needs presented by the teachers, some interventions were carried out. The first intervention took place through three workshops, all mediated by the researcher. In addition to the workshops, an educational product was built with activities to help teachers of the second year of elementary school in dialogue with the local contextualization and with freedom to adapt, when necessary. The product presents ten activities to work with country students, which are also available on Youtube. The research was of great relevance, because it allowed not only to prove, scientifically, the hypotheses raised, but still contributed by involving the community in the training. It can be inferred that there is still a need for further studies on the subject, so that training is not restricted to teachers, and yes, to other subjects in the countryside.

Abstract: This dissertation was written with the objective of analyzing the progress of students of the technical course in agriculture and cattle integrated to high school, Castanhal campus, in English language learning, through the ChatClass educational plataform. Thus, it was chosen, methodologically, by the qualitative approach, because it was possible to analyze the construction of learning another language, in the sense of perceiving in which language aspects the students have progressed, as well as their difficulties and limitations. In this context, the data collection occurred through literature review of references in education and work: Ramos (2014), Lemes (2016), Ciavatta (2005; 2012), Marx &amp; Engels (1983); of digital platforms: Moran ( 2017; 2021), Silva (2017); of gamification: Fardo (2013), kapp (2012); of English language teaching- learning: Harmer (2007), Lima; Sousa; Luquetti ( 2014), among other important references to discuss the theme in focus; interviews were conducted with structured questions applied to the research participants and observations during the workshops. The analysis was based on the description and interpretation of data, after cataloging the collection. When it comes to English language learning, it was found that the 23 students belonging to the 3rd grade, of the technical course in agriculture and cattle, made progress in listening and reading comprehension, vocabulary expansion, identification of technical terms and understanding of grammatical and linguistic aspects. However, no progress in writing and speaking skills. For students to be able to develop them, teachers need to think of new interactive methodologies to achieve their engagement, providing a good command of communication skills. Faced with difficulties presented by the students, we produced didactic sequences elaborated and planned from basic to advanced, starting with short texts, word and expression recognition, to more complex discussions about language, as well as more elaborate textual production.
