Educação em saúde em área urbana por meio de horta comunitária agroecológica

Abstract

This work is related to health education divided into three chapters, where the first one presents the bibliographic review about the theme, in the second the methodology applied in the revitalization of a community participation garden and in the third the presentation of a pedagogical book systematizing the work developed after practical experience. The objective of this work is to present alternative good food practices using as a mechanism urban agriculture through a community garden with agroecological bases. After a theoretical background, this work developed by the social service professional sought the partnership of the multidisciplinary view of the area of agronomy, nutrition and psychology that contributed with their abilities to the execution of the activities that go from the planting, manipulation and confection of the foods, besides the involvement of families as subjects in participation and reflection in the promotion of Health. The result is the construction of a pedagogical book that systematizes the work of health education having as object the community garden with agroecological bases.
